About the role:
Join our dynamic team as an IT Senior Data and Systems Engineer and play a pivotal role in transforming our Clinical Business Unit. We are a team of IT professionals directly supporting Boston Scientific’s Pre-Clinical, Clinical and Safety division in achieving their commercial goals. In this role you will have an opportunity to work alongside teams developing data pipelines and integrations in AWS, Athena, Oracle, and Snowflake. We are passionate about optimizing processes, driving efficiencies, and leveraging technology to create innovative solutions. We look forward to hearing from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Manipulate large datasets using Python libraries.
- Interact with external APIs
- Write modular, testable, and well-documented code following Python, AWS Glue, and Lambda best practices.
- Build and maintain ETL processes for large data sets from third party Saa S sources to AWS S3, Athena and RDS.
- Develop and maintain web applications using Angular.
- Ensure strong testing, validation, and code quality assurance.
- Implement data governance, metadata management, and data quality practices.
- Write complex SQL queries, including window functions and CTEs.
- Understand data warehousing concepts and work with various database engines (Oracle, Postgre SQL, Amazon S3, Postgre SQL, and Athena).
- Participate in Agile-Scrum teams, contributing to sprints and iterative development processes.
- Proactivity: Demonstrates initiative and the ability to anticipate and solve problems independently.
- Strong consulting skills to understand and address stakeholder needs.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience working PL SQL
- 3+ years of proven experience with Python Programming, AWS, S3, Glue, CI/CD automation.
- Great experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Advance English Level
- Submit resume in English
