This position belongs to the Digital Platforms and Operations (DOP) area.
We are looking for your talent to join into one of our projects as a General Accountant (Record to Report).
Qualifications/skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields. It can be a combination between education and experience.
English advanced level.
Strong Finance and Accounting knowledge.
Strong communication.
Advanced Excel knowledge, and preparing comprehensive reports and analyses.
Strong overall knowledge of General Accountant.
Strong knowledge of Upstream and downstream general accounting activities.
Strong knowledge of RTR Improvement and transformation projects.
ERP experience.
People management experience.
Client stakeholder management skill.
Experience dealing with accounting, finance or business intelligence processes.
Experience handling business intelligence platforms.
Proven problem-solving and decision making skills. Working knowledge of related industry practices and standards.

Key responsibilities:

Act as SME and guide more junior peers on more complex scenarios.
Act as Checker.
Assist with closing the books and sub-ledgers, including passing appropiate required adjustment entries and consolidating financials at the end of each accounting period.
Assist with financial and management reporting, planning and analysis, metrics, monitoring and forecasting.
Document and establish business requirement documents, review test scripts, and interact with business partners to ensure successful migrations of key technology releases.
Identify and resolve problems using basic Finance knowledge, escalating as needed.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding the group, It's client and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Ensure integrity and completeness of data, including by preparing and recording financial transactions for legal vehicle and regulatory reporting purposes, updating the general ledger, recording financial transactions, and preparing of consolidated financial statements, in accordance with management reporting requirements, for legal vehicle and regulatory purposes.
Also, includes specialized accounting, such as equity compensation, securitization, payroll and investment accounting.
Communicate with legal entity managers across multiple locations in order to determine root cause of variance and determine if adjustments to the ledger are required.
Conduct financial analysis to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements.
