About the role
We’re looking for a new freelance talent to work hand in hand with volunteers, staff, and communities to dispense prescription medications and provide information to patients about the drugs and their use at MEDLIFE Mobile Clinics in low-income communities in Costa Rica. By achieving that, you will contribute to one of MEDLIFE core focuses by providing access to equal Healthcare to low-income communities.

About the role
We’re looking for a new freelance talent to work hand in hand with volunteers, staff, and communities to dispense prescription medications and provide information to patients about the drugs and their use at MEDLIFE Mobile Clinics in low-income communities in Costa Rica. By achieving that, you will contribute to one of MEDLIFE core focuses by providing access to equal Healthcare to low-income communities.
What will your day-to-day look like at MEDLIFE?
- Dispense prescription medications to patients from MEDLIFE mobile clinics.
- Provide information to patients about the drugs and their use in mobile medical campaigns.
- Answer the questions of the volunteers.
- Bachelor or Technical Degree in Pharmacy, Nurse ,or related fields.
- Must have a valid license (colegiatura) if you hold a bachelor degree.
- 2+ years of experience as Pharmacist or Pharmacist Technician in Costa Rica
- Advanced-level English skills are a plus.
- Work experience in rural communities is a plus.
- Availability to work in Guanacaste or San Jose area
