About the role We’re looking for a new freelance talent to work hand in hand with volunteers, staff, and communities to give Nutritional orientation to patients at MEDLIFE Mobile Clinics in low-income communities in Costa Rica. By achieving that, you will contribute to one of MEDLIFE core focuses by providing access to equal Healthcare to low-income communities. What will your day-to-day look like at MEDLIFE?
Provide outpatient nutrition orientation to patients in mobile medical campaigns.
Conduct anemia, diabetes, obesity tests for patients.
Good practices related to Nutrition development.
Answer the questions of the volunteers.
What will you bring?
Bachelor or Technical Degree in Nutrition, or related fields.
Must have a valid license (colegiatura) to work as a nutritionist in Costa Rica.
2+ years of experience as Nutritionist in Costa Rica
Advanced-level English skills is a plus.
Work experience in rural communities is a plus.
Live in the San Jose, or Guanacaste area.
