About the role We’re looking for a new freelance talent to work hand in hand with volunteers, staff, and communities to evaluate patients previous to their medical appointment at MEDLIFE Mobile Clinics in low-income communities in Costa Rica. By achieving that, you will contribute to one of MEDLIFE core focuses by providing access to equal Healthcare to low-income communities. What will your day-to-day look like at MEDLIFE?
Perform health histories at MEDLIFE mobile clinics.
Conduct a physical examination of patients at the beginning of their visit to assess their overall health: take the patient's temperature, record their weight, monitor their heartbeat, check their blood pressure, etc. in mobile medical campaigns.
Answer the questions of the volunteers.
What will you bring?
Bachelor or Technical Degree in Nursing ,or related fields.
2+ years of experience as Nurse or Nurse Technician in Costa Rica
Advanced-level English skills are a plus.
Work experience in rural communities is a plus.
Availability to work in Guanacaste or San Jose area
