Americas Delivery Management group is the entry point within the delivery organization towards the commercial team of the Americas Travel Sellers unit.
Summary of the role:
Summary Overview of Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the implementation of the Amadeus Solutions, as well as the Consulting and Program management for our Travel Channels customers.
- Entry point for the commercial units of the Online Segment, within the delivery
- organization.
- Coordinate all delivery activities, leveraging all delivery expert resources in different delivery domains; Be accountable for all delivery activities and provide KPIs; Engage Delivery Domains resources, coordinate their activities and provide reporting to ensure the delivery of Amadeus commitments; Support the budget assessment set-up and execution within the delivery organization for the Online segment.
In this role you’ll:
- Manage -within their assigned customers’ scope - all delivery activities for all services in the Service Catalogue. Delivery Managers are the first escalation point for any issue that should be raised during a service delivery or implementation and are in direct contact with the customers.
- Manage demand versus capacity in coordination with Delivery Domains and Customer Solutions (budget overspent, arbitration etc.). Proactively manage the ongoing pipeline of requests side and ensure quality of all deliveries and as such commit to the customer on the deliverables, timeline, monitoring, success criteria and required involvement from the customer.
- Communicate accordingly to Customer, ensure their adherence to the plan and follow up on delivery dates.
- Create, manage and keep updated a dashboard per customer to provide accurate status of all deliverables, including risks & issues. Provide a regular executive summary covering the risks/issues that need management attention.
- Coordinate and manage all Delivery Domains resources required for project success. These resources report operationally to the Delivery Manager for the duration of the project. Ensure that delivered solution or service to customer corresponds to what has been defined in the contract and that customer understands its full capability.
- Support the Presales process by providing Delivery expertise, highlighting delivery risks and validating timelines and expert resources availability.
- When needed, act as functional and technical entry point to provide specialist knowledge and expertise on Amadeus products and solutions.
- Attend to bi-weekly Competency center call, sharing main activities/issues related to your assigned customer.
- Provide inputs necessary to define main regional topics (competency center) that must be shared with global top management, to expedite main priorities and remove roadblocks
- About the ideal candidate:
- 5-10 years’ experience in the travel industry.
- Previous specific experience in Business Solution and /or Delivery management, acting as a Project/Program Manager in the Travel industry.
