POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will need advanced reporting (Power BI), analytics skills and be responsible for leading advanced reporting development, performing data analytics, and managing projects within the BI domain. This role requires a strong foundation in BI tools and technologies, along with basic knowledge in machine learning and AI to drive data-driven decision-making processes. He/She will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced BI reports and dashboards to meet business requirements.
- Perform data analysis and predictive modeling to uncover insights and trends.
- Lead the BI project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define BI and analytics requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Implement and maintain BI tools and systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Facilitate data integration from various sources into BI solutions, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Provide training and support to business users on BI tools and reports.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in BI, data analytics, machine learning, and AI to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Implement basic machine learning models to enhance analytical capabilities and automate repetitive tasks.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in BI and data analytics, with a proven track record of leading BI projects.
- Strong knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Power BI) and databases (SQL, No SQL).
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Proficient in data analysis and visualization techniques.
- Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms and AI concepts.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, as well as offshore delivery team.
Desired Skills:
- Certification in BI tools or project management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master).
- Experience with cloud data technologies (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of programming languages (Python, R) for data analysis.
