Responsible for applying receipts and processing transactions related to receipt processing in Oracle Accounts Receivable for all business segments and companies. Ensure all receipts and Direct Debits are applied or processed in a timely and accurate manner, with proper bank accounts and GL coding. Must display a relevant and timely resolution on all issues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Apply funds received via various methods to customer invoices for all business segments in a timely and accurate manner.
In the absence of remittance information, place funds on customer account and liaise with Credit & Collections to obtain application instructions. If the customer cannot be identified, place funds on the unidentified account and send notification to the broader business team, following up to ensure timely and accurate resolution
Reconcile receivables daily, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Release the NACHA file for customer drafts.
Run daily reports and disseminate to worldwide collections teams. Follow-up with collections to ensure timely resolution.
Respond to and resolve inquires received in a timely manner.
Build relationships with key business partners in Treasury, Credit & Collections and Financial Operations
Assist in any special projects assigned to the team
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
1 to 3 years of Accounts Receivable experience.
Advanced English level (C1)
Prior experience working in a multi-segment/division corporation preferred; and must have ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel.
Oracle knowledge preferred
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment with sensitive time frames.
Must be able to meet and or exceed operational requirements for response to inquiries and request for documentation.
Must be comfortable in a goal-oriented setting.
Must be self-motivated and have excellent time management skills.
Must have strong Customer Service skills.
