Description:
The Data Scientist will play a critical role in analyzing raw data, designing predictive models, and developing generative AI models and large language models (LLMs) to tackle complex business challenges. You will be responsible for structuring data for downstream processing, generating actionable insights, and presenting your findings through advanced data visualization techniques. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data science solutions that drive improvements and optimize decision-making processes.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze raw data, assessing data quality, performing data cleansing, and structuring data for processing.
- Design accurate, scalable, and production-ready prediction algorithms.
- Develop and implement generative AI models and LLMs to solve complex business problems.
- Generate actionable insights to drive business improvements and optimize decision-making processes.
- Present data findings effectively using advanced data visualization techniques and tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data science solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related) or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, statistical data modeling, or data science.
- Proficiency in developing predictive models, including machine learning algorithms, classification techniques, and generative AI models.
- Strong knowledge of Python and its data science libraries (e.g., pandas, numpy, scikit-learn) and generative AI libraries (e.g., Hugging Face Transformers, GPT-3, Py Torch, Tensor Flow).
- Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and their applications.
- Competency in SQL for data querying and manipulation; familiarity with Scala is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Looker) for data visualization and reporting.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
