Aerotek is URGENTLY HIRING Production Worker/Skilled Labourer in Langley, BC (full time, long term, training provided)
*HIRING MULTIPLE CANDIDATES*
Looking for candidates with experience in production or manufacturing and have experience using hand and power tools. If you have this experience and interested in the opportunity please apply with you updated resume.
Must Haves

• 1+ years' experience in working production/manufacturing or general labor
• Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively
• Experience working with saws or hand and power tools and or comfortable to be trained on how to use
• Can read a tape measure to 1/32”
• Reliable transportation (Transit not accessible to job site)

Job Duties:

• Follow and understand Order Details (Tickets).
• Lift and Cary Door slabs and other components throughout Paintline.
• Move components from prep table to transfer cart.
• Sand, Acetone, Tape and repair surfaces of door slabs and other components.
• Monitors and maintains equipment tolerances.
• Needs to meet or exceed daily production targets consistently. (1-2 per hour, up to 15-20 a day)
• Needs to work efficiently and safely every day.
• Help off loaders moving doors to and from the paint track.
• Will also perform other related duties as assigned, which may not be specifically listed in the job description. Leadhand or supervisor to give instructions and training as needed.
• Read a tape measure to 1/32”

Shift

• Monday to Friday 5:45am - 2:15pm
• Mon to Thursday 1:45pm -12:15am (+$1/hr premium)

Wage

• $21 Per Hour

Work Environment

• 80 - 100 employees total
• 60 assemblers/Production
• The rest are office staff. Brand new, clean facility.
• Will be working in a custom wood manufacturing facility.
• End customers include Home Depot, construction contracting companies.
• Dress Code:
• Long pants
• No shorts allowed
• Long sleeve shirts
• STWB
• Ear plugs, safety glasses, safety vest (All provided)
