Human Resources Administrator


The Human Resources Administrator is involved in the day-to-day administrative operations of the Human Resources Department. This position will provide support to the HR team when it comes to the hiring and onboarding processes of MHG, assisting with recruitment and maintaining employee files ensuring they remain up to date and accurate.
A key member of the HR team, the Administrator will be responsible for input and maintenance of employee data within the HRIS system and working closely with the HR team to ensure tasks are prioritized properly and deadlines are met.
This opportunity will provide a successful candidate with experience in conducting reference checks, benefits administration, maintenance of employee data and creating reports as well as assisting with various HR Projects.
As HR Administrator, You Will
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless experience
  • Coordinate 30, 60, and 90-day check-ins with departments and new managers to support the onboarding experience
  • Assist with the offboarding process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and processes have been followed
  • Generate and produce monthly HR reports, providing insights and analytics to support decision-making
  • Draft and send company-wide communications, including announcements, updates, and reminders
  • Assist with recruitment process by posting job ads, screening resumes, and conducting off-site recruitment as needed
  • Assist with the planning and execution of MHG events, such as our annual softball tournament
  • Other administrative duties as required
Who You Are
  • A recent graduate, within the last 5 years, with an interest in Human Resources
  • Highly organized self-starter who takes initiative to identify areas for improvement and actively seeks solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills; a team player with a "can do" approach and willingness to learn
  • Excellent time management skills; able to prioritize and plan work activities efficiently
  • High attention to detail and action oriented
  • You understand the importance of deadlines and operate with a sense of urgency
  • Previous experience working in an office environment considered an asset
