The Fixed Maintenance Supervisor primary responsibilities will be developing, implementing, maintaining, and executing all aspects of reliability-based maintenance strategies with a focus on preventative and predictive maintenance across site fixed assets. You will report directly to the Maintenance Superintendent.

Here’s what you can expect in this role:
Supervise a team of tradesmen/tradeswomen to ensure the safe and efficient maintenance of Keno Hill’s fixed assets.
Audit and coach the team in the proper use of health and safety policies, procedures, tools, and equipment.
Participate in the implementation of a CMMS program.
Ensure all maintenance planning and execution activities are compliant with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Develop and implement safe and viable maintenance planning strategies and review current maintenance plans to identify and resolve any deficiencies.
Coordinate and schedule manpower and parts to minimize downtime and optimize production.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure maintenance and equipment usage is tracked and work orders are prioritized.
Provide accurate detailed maintenance planning reports as needed, including performance reports and KPI’s.
Coach and mentor the team to develop strategies that support the maintenance workflow process and safely maximize plant equipment availability.
Use CMMS to develop a daily, weekly, and long-term work schedule to secure adequate resources to complete preventative, predictive and planned maintenance, including shutdown.
Review, evaluate, and coordinate maintenance performance.
Develop, implement, and maintain reliability strategies, initiatives, and solutions across the site by identifying improvement opportunities.
Establishing practices whereby maintenance information and learnings are shared across the business.
Maintain a positive attitude and culture of safety, care, and professionalism.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Relevant Red Seal Trade coupled with significant hands-on management experience.
5+ years' experience in a similar role in the mining industry preferred but would also consider industrial sector experience.
Valid drivers’ license.
Essential Experience and Skills:
Extensive knowledge of process plant equipment.
Previous experience successfully implementing and overseeing CMMS programs.
Excellent computer skills including MS Office, CMMS, and Projects.
Solid planning, scheduling, implementation, and execution experience.
Project start-up experience considered an asset.
Highly developed communication and presentation skills.

Maintaining good housekeeping standards
Work Environment and Job Schedule Employees will be frequently exposed to; outside weather conditions, snow conditions; extreme cold, extreme heat, potentially hazardous wildlife; moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock; explosives and vibration. The noise level in most work environments is occasionally loud. This position will require you to work a rotating shift of 14 days on and 14 days off and you will be provided camp housing and meals.
