In this role, you will work with a team of talented, operators overseeing the day-to-day operations of plant and field, preparing equipment for maintenance, troubleshooting, and working with the control room for plant optimization and maximizing plant efficiencies.
Minimum requirements

One year of experience in plant operations; experience in heavy oil processing, sour gas processing, water treatment/power plants or refinery operations is preferred

High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Responsibilities
-
Follow all operating processes and procedures during operations to ensure the safety of our people, equipment and the environment

Prepare and complete daily area logs and communicate significant changes and findings in a timely manner

Ensure timely action and process adjustments during plant upsets that are consistent with operational objectives and target outputs

Prepare equipment and systems for maintenance and commissioning

You will work out of our Fort Hills Plant in Fort Mc Murray, Alberta

The shift schedule is a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation (12-hour shifts)

You will be on a Fly-In-Fly-Out Rotation from one of the approved hubs of Edmonton or Calgary or a Bus-In-Bus-Out of Fort Mc Murray.
