Within the Office of the Dean, the Administrative Support team provides administrative support to the leadership team in the Dean's Office on a range of activities from operational to academic support including internal and external events. About the Role The Events and Executive Coordinator provides a range of confidential administrative, operations and project support and is the main organizer for events for the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Office of the Dean. The role coordinates administrative activities and works in consultation with the supervisor to provide policy and procedural information to Associate Deans, the Dean’s Executive Committee, and other leaders in the Office of the Dean. This position has responsibility for providing confidential administrative support to the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences senior leadership team. The Events and Executive Coordinator provides events planning and project coordination and support for the Dean's Office on a variety of special projects. As the ideal candidate, you will have exceptional administrative, analytical, organizational and events planning and project management skills. You thrive in a fast paced, high volume working environment and can balance dynamic priorities. You pay attention to detail and think laterally to help you identify potential problems and resolve issues effectively.
