COORDINATOR, HOME SUPPORT PROGRAMS, QUESNEL

Position Summary
Bring your project management, creative problem solving and team leadership expertise to this exciting role with our Home Support team.

The Coordinator, Home Support Programs—Quesnel is responsible for the delivery, planning, organization and evaluation of the Quesnel Home Support Programs. This includes the overall operational management of clinical activities, education and quality improvement in these programs. The Coordinator is responsible for supervision of staff and establishing partnerships with Home and Community programs, service providers, community agencies and related organizations.

Starting salary will be approximately from $74,618 to $93,273 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.

GR Baker Memorial Hospital is a full care hospital with 27 Acute Care beds, 4 ICU beds and 5 crisis stabilization beds.

Qualifications
  • Diploma or degree in a health-related field.
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years recent related experience, including in a supervisory/leadership role.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of current health care issues and trends.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of home support and home support scheduling principles and best practices.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of applicable acts and regulations pertaining to home support programs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, with all levels.
  • Ability to foster effective working relationships, internally and externally, at all levels.
  • Ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to plan, implement, operationalize an evaluate service programs.
  • Effective financial and human resource management skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage conflict.
  • Ability to analyze and problem-solve complex issues towards creative solutions.
  • Ability to provide leadership, guidance, and direction to others.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize work and balance multiple activities concurrently.
  • Proficiency in the Windows environment and demonstrated computer knowledge and competence.
  • Knowledge of change management and proven ability to implement change effectively.
