WHS Compliance Coordinator

About the role:
This 8 month contract role will have you working with our team at Okehampton on a day-to-day basis. The incumbent will report directly to the Senior WHS Manager for alignment with the company WHS management system. You will take direction from and work closely with the Okehampton Site Manager to apply the safety system on a day-to-day basis. This includes, but is not limited to, the timely reporting of incidents, incident investigations, hazard identification, risk assessment and various forms of consultation.
In this role, the successful applicant will work Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week on a max term contract.

Daily requirements:
Time on Water: At least 30% of your time
Safety Systems: Implementation, administration and maintaining of the corporate safety system ensuring site WHS compliance
Compliance: Facilitating WHS hazard identification, risk assessments (JSA), risk control and other safety related tasks
Investigations: Supporting the onsite team with the timely reporting of incidents and injuries and conducting subsequent incident investigations
Injury Management: Ensuring Tassal’s Injury Management protocols are supported on site and vessel
Stakeholder Support: Support site leadership groups to achieve a physical and psychological safe work environment
Contractor Management: Assist with effective WHS management of contractors
