More about you - Warehouse Assistant Manager The Assistant Warehouse Manager will support and oversee all warehouse employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards. This role acts as a critical link between the warehouse team and the Warehouse Manager, facilitating communication and implementing strategies to meet daily operational goals. Key Responsibilities Include:
Tobacco Excellence: Ensure full tobacco availability and accurate, timely processing of Returns and Credits.
Customer Experience: Deliver an exceptional end-to-end customer experience for Wholesale clients.
Order Management: Coordinate the picking and packing process to ensure accurate and timely deliveries to Wholesale Customers and Retail Stores.
Operational Standards: Maintain warehouse operational standards in accordance with Presentation Masters.
Inventory Accuracy: Manage inventory accuracy through weekly tobacco counts, addressing known and unknown loss budgets, and maintaining stock levels in line with budget.
Training Compliance: Actively participate in training systems, ensuring compliance and timely training for all team members.
Safety Culture: Foster a safety-first culture by achieving 100% compliance on monthly safety audits and ensuring adherence to SMGB Safety Policies and Procedures.
Communication Tools: Engage with the SMGB Connect platform and other prescribed communication and operational tools.
Team Engagement: Create a positive work culture focused on team engagement, recognition, and praise.
Brand Representation: Model the SMGB brand and Ways of Working, ensuring high standards of representation.
