About the Role:
Are you a dedicated and compassionate individual looking to make a difference in the healthcare industry? Join our dynamic team as an Undergraduate Student of Nursing and assist our health care professionals in providing excellent patient care.
To be eligible for this role you must be currently enrolled in a Registered Nurse study program and have completed or be about to complete the requirements of a first-year student.

Prepare your script and create a 5-minute video addressing the three (3) selection criteria listed below.

Find a Quiet Place: Ensure you’re in a quiet environment with good lighting.
Record Your Video: Use your recording device to capture your video. Make sure to speak clearly and maintain eye contact with the camera.
Step 2: Edit Your Video (Optional)
Cut any unnecessary parts, add titles, and enhance audio or visuals if necessary.
Be creative and have fun, whilst also being aware of Copyright.
Step 3: Create a You Tube Account (If You Don’t Have One)
Go to You Tube: Open https://www.youtube.com/
Sign In: Click on "Sign In" in the top right corner. Use your Google account to sign in or create one if you don’t have it.
Step 4: Upload Your Video to You Tube
Click on the Upload Icon: In the top right corner, click on the camera icon with a "+" and select "Upload video."
Select Your Video File: Choose the video file you recorded.
Add Title: Give your video a relevant title.
Choose "Unlisted" as the video visibility option. This means only people with the link can view your video, and it won’t appear in search results.
Upload & Process: Click "Next" and "Save" to finish the upload. Wait for You Tube to process your video.
Step 5: Copy Your Video Link
Access Your Video: After uploading, go to your You Tube Studio, and find your video in the content list.
Copy the Video Link: Click on the three dots next to your video, then select "Get sharable link."
Step 6: Attach the Video Link to Your CV
Open Your CV Document: Edit your CV using Microsoft Word.
Write a short description like "Click here to view my video."
Paste the You Tube link and save.
Step 7: Save and Submit Your CV
Save Your CV: Save your CV in PDF format to ensure the formatting remains consistent.
Submit Your CV: Follow the application process to submit your CV with the attached video link and other required documents.
Make sure your video is set to "Unlisted" and not "Private" or "Public" to ensure that only those with the link can view it.
Keep the video to the recommended time frame as this will form part of the assessment.

Canberra Hospital Expansion Project – CHS is constructing a new critical services building called ‘Building 5’ which is a 44,000sqm nine storey building specifically designed to deliver state-of-the-art acute clinical services at the Canberra Hospital. Building 5 is the largest healthcare infrastructure project undertaken in the Territory’s history and it represents the largest clinical and operational change program to ever be implemented by Canberra Health Services. Building 5 integrates with a number of existing buildings at the Campus including Building 1 and Building 2, to facilitate a seamless public thoroughfare, patient transportation and back-of-house logistics distribution.
North Canberra Hospital - As of 3 July 2023 Calvary Public Hospital Bruce transitioned to CHS and became North Canberra Hospital. The transition will deliver a health system networked under one provider and will provide increased workforce opportunities for staff at both CHS sites. The ACT Government will be building a new northside hospital on the existing hospital campus in Bruce to meet the growing health care needs of our community, with construction to commence mid-decade providing more beds, increased services, and increased career opportunities.
