Workplace Based Assessment Program (International Medical Graduates)
Fairfield Hospital is thrilled to announce its involvement in the International Medical Graduate Workplace Based Assessment Pathways program. This means that you can now join the Fairfield Hospital team and earn your Australian Accreditation whilst working in various departments including Emergency, O &G, Paediatrics and Intensive Care.
This program has limited spots/ availability however if deemed suitable to undertake the Workplace based assessment program it would provide you with the below benefits.
As a part of the program you will be overseen by members of the AMC Board of Examiners and at conclusion of successfully completing the program would receive AMC Certification to continue your Employment at Fairfield Hospital.
(The Workplace Based Assessment Program can be used in place of sitting the second part of AMC Practical Examinations required for International Medical Graduates.)

What you'll be doing
This position provides the Paediatric trainee with an opportunity to obtain experience in a supervised role that incorporates acute and ambulatory patient care, neonatal special care, the provision of education and clinical research involvement. In selected applicants the position provides an environment suitable for significant general paediatric experience of management of sick children in a very active metropolitan hospital presenting to the Emergency department, the Children's ward, Special Care Nursery, Birthing Unit and Paediatric Ambulatory Care.
