About the Role: The Learning and Teaching directorate is responsible for the coordination and leadership of contemporary and contextualised learning design guidance and practice to improve the capability of teachers to design meaningful and challenging learning in their local context. A Learning Partner – Partnerships, Research and Innovation contributes to a strong team culture by modelling collaborative and co-design processes to:
influence system-wide learning and assessment design capability and culture
amplify educator and student agency across the system.
A Learning Partner – Partnerships, Research and Innovation works collaboratively as part of the Learning and Teaching directorate to translate research into evidence informed pedagogical practice consistent with the Strategy for Public Education and broader system priorities and initiatives.
They are responsible for effectively meeting the needs of teachers and leaders in relation to activating the Areas of Impact and reviewing and implementing the SA Curriculum. Modelling and promoting the Guiding Principles of the Strategy for Public Education. The Learning and Teaching team will co-design and facilitate the statewide Student Agency forums.
Qualifications: Essential: A tertiary qualification in including post-graduate qualifications in an appropriate discipline desirable or relevant experience. Current teacher registration. Desirable: Experience with the use of generative AI in an education context, and ability to design learning and networking via online forums.
Special Conditions: The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.
