About the Role:
The Program Officer – Early Career Teacher Development undertakes a broad range of administrative and program support duties to assist the Early Career Teacher Development (ECTD) team in Orbis. The ECTD team supports graduate teachers to transition to the proficient career stage of the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers to gain full registration. The team facilitates a range of programs to support ECTs, mentors and leaders including the Year 1 and Year 2 ECT program, the Start Strong Graduate Teacher program, Mentoring ECTs and Evaluator training.
The Program Officer – Early Career Teacher Development ensures programs are delivered in a professional and seamless way through effective program and data management co-ordination. The role involves working proactively, maintaining high levels of organisation, and operating efficiently within a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
Desirable: Relevant Qualifications such as project management.
Special Conditions:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration:
ASO4 $76,561 - $80,256 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading.
