We are seeking an enthusiastic Administration/Finance Officer to join our innovative and engaging team. The Finance and Administration Officer is accountable to the Business Manager for contributing to the financial and administration management of the school by providing an effective bookkeeping, financial reporting and effective administration and reception operations of the school. The incumbent is also required to work under general direction to initiate and ensure compliance with financial and administrative management processes in accordance with departmental and legislative requirements. The incumbent is responsible for delivering high quality, effective and efficient customer service operations and information flow of the school to contribute to the effective operation of the school and achievement of educational outcomes to students. What you will do:
Invoicing and recording of all fees and charges associated with all school activities/services
Receipting and recording all income, performing required balances and reconciliations, generating daily cash register reports/summaries and banking of school funds
Preparing and authorising purchase orders, processing accounts for payment
Entering data and maintaining the bookkeeping records
Screen telephone calls, ascertain nature and urgency of calls, take and forward messages and calls
Assist the business manager and other staff with clerical and administrative tasks
