Process Operator (Weighbridge Operator) - Kalamia Mill
We are currently seeking applications for a Weighbridge Operator at Kalamia Mill in the Burdekin Region. This is a fixed term position in our sugar processing factory which requires shift work during the crushing season on a rotating roster.
The roster is a Lifestyle Roster on a 4/5 rotation and shift hours are 4am - 4pm or 4pm -4am. In 28 days, you'll work 14 shifts which will include a mixture of 7 days & 7 nights with 2 weekends off a month. The Weighbridge Operator is responsible for the correct weighing of all cane entering the weighbridge and data entry from the consignment information. This position is also responsible for cleaning, work in confined spaces and maintaining records. The Weighbridge is the first station of the Milling process, and requires someone who can handle a distracting, high pressure and rewarding work environment. We provide ample training to ensure the candidate is successful and confident in the position. To be successful in this position, you will need to be a strong communicator and a team player. Mechanical aptitude is desirable as working with the maintenance teams is necessary on maintenance days. The Rewards:
