About the Position
Bond University is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and service-oriented People Officer to join the People and Talent team. As the first point of contact for HR enquiries, this role will be responsible for the smooth processing of contracts and variations, troubleshooting system issues, maintaining employee records, reporting, assisting with recruitment activities and supporting all other administrative tasks as required by the People Business Partner.
This exciting role offers the opportunity to contribute to HR projects and events, assist with policy updates, and support relocation and immigration processes. This varied position is ideal for someone eager to make a meaningful contribution within a supportive environment to grow their career in HR.
About the person
The ideal applicant will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in human resources or at least 2 years of relevant experience
- A developing knowledge of employment laws and regulations, along with the ability to interpret policies and provide general advice
- Strong administrative, organisational, and time management skills.
- Solid interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficient IT skills, with the capability to operate HRIS and payroll systems
Experience in the higher education sector would also be advantageous.
Salary details
The salary for the position commences at $69,843.17 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
