This newly created role will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the People & Culture Services function. This role offers to make a meaningful impact on our business by delivering exceptional services to our stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the talent acquisition process including position description development, approvals; posting and monitoring job adverts, assisting with candidate short listing, screening and interview administration as required and completing the credentialing process.
- Ensure the employee on-boarding experience for new employees is adhered to and employees are inducted and oriented appropriately. (including offer of employment, new start packs, induction and probation)
- Provide assistance to all employees on employment related matters including leave management and interpretations of the relevant Enterprise Agreement, Awards, Agreements and conditions of employment.
- Manage the contract generation process for the business unit.
- Support the establishment and implementation of an HR Information System.
- Maintain excellent HR records including the documentation of all HR issues.
- Maintaining data within the HRIS system for employees and workforce contractors, ensuring efficient, timely and accurate data setup and integrity.
- Ensure allocation of assets are recorded and updated within their personnel files and the returns process is completed before termination payments are processed by payroll.
About You
- Relevant Human Resource Certificate or Degree
- Excellent communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detail. To be successful this role will require integrity, initiative and high work standards.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing needs of the business and to prioritize
- Ability to build partnerships and demonstrate teamwork
- Ability to work autonomously
- Professional approach and a strong customer service focus.
- Effective follow up processes/ self-management
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- High level of discretion and confidentiality due to knowledge of sensitive information.
