The Operational Services at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for an Operational Officer (Patient Equipment Loan Store) to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your opportunity
To provide a polite, prompt and efficient customer focus service within the high volume / non-specialised health technology assets to improve patient care across Mackay Hospital. This is achieved by the cleaning, distribution and maintenance of equipment, receive and return items via Asset tracking. This position will also be required to work with and provide support and advice to Team Leader, Supervisors and/or Manager of Operational Services.
About the Team
Operational Services provides and co-ordinates a diverse range of services that support the clinical divisions in the delivery of patient centred health care at Mackay Base Hospital. The department consists of the following keys areas:
- Cleaning Services
- Porterage Services
- Waste Management
- Grounds and Gardens and
- Patient Equipment Loan Store (PELS).
