What will you be doing?
Reporting to the General Manager – Construction Solutions, you will be responsible for fostering strong relationships with individuals and teams. Leading and driving a safety culture and systems that ensure compliance in all aspects of OHS.
Providing Work Health and Safety (WH&S) expertise and leadership to the business
Cultivate and embed a safety risk management culture.
Ensure organisational compliance with Ausreo’s (WH&S) policies, procedures, programs, and safety standards.
Develop, implement, and monitor WH&S policies, procedures and programs that are compliant with Federal and State Government legislation.
Driving national safety improvement initiatives to address WH&S performance gaps.
Ensure safety practices are executed across Ausreo consistently and transparently.
Coach, influence, and mentor stakeholders at all levels of Ausreo to enable safety to be integrated in all core business operations.
What will you bring?
This role is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for developing, planning and executing the national WH&S strategy and safety improvement plans.
You will bring:
5+ years’ experience in a WH&S management role leading and promoting a safety culture in a complex and diverse environment.
Tertiary qualification and ideally post graduate studies in a relevant discipline.
Cert IV Training and Assessment.
Auditor training in WH&S or Quality.
Qualified RTW Coordinator
Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to interpret WHS legislation, policies, and procedures.
Demonstrated experience in the development of preventative strategies to minimise WH&S risks in the workplace, preferably gained in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated Experience managing WH&S at a state or national level to AS4801, ISO14001 and managing national WH&S Accreditation Scheme requirements.
