Maintenance Team Member

The role & you
Sitting within our Trades Team this role is responsible for maintaining Council's building and public amenity assets. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven ability to work autonomously and possess experience in building maintenance. Hands-on skills in concreting, painting, carpentry, and tiling are essential, along with a basic understanding of plumbing and electrical principles. The ability to adapt to changing processes and technology is also important. Additionally, having a Service Location and Test & Tag Certification is desirable, though a willingness to obtain these certifications is equally valued.

Please note that to be a successful candidate for this role you’ll be required to complete a pre-employment medical check (this will include a drug and alcohol test, sight and hearing, functional and medical component)
Salary: Commencing salary package range circa $55,900 to $61,500 p.a. plus superannuation. (Dependent on skills and experience.)
A To and From vehicle is attached to this role
Location: Upon commencement your normal place of work will be the Mid Coast Council Taree Depot located at 36 Arkwright Crescent. You may also be required to be based from other Council sites across the Mid Coast Council region.
Tenure: Permanent, Full Time.
Closing date: Sunday 3 November 2024 at 11.30 pm.
