Join an award winning ASX-listed tourism and transport company Range of Employee Benefits including staff discounts and career development Based in Cleveland, QLD About the Role We are currently seeking a Maintenance Planner who will be responsible for scheduling the maintenance of Sea Link SEQ’s vessels and infrastructure through the development of an Annual Maintenance Plan.
Key Responsibilities
Plan works using the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to raise work orders with clear and concise written job instructions, details and procedures (including Work Instructions, Safe Work Method Statements, Standards, OEM documentation/specifications, engineering drawings etc.)
Coordinate and conduct scheduled meetings with key stakeholders to review the plans, documenting reasons for non-delivery of assigned tasks and working to eliminate causes of non-delivery
Ensure the accuracy of all work orders and maintenance details when entered into the CMMS including equipment maintenance history to enable efficient reporting, analysis, and review
Evaluate and identify specific safety hazards associated with planned work, ensuring adherence to safety requirements and procedures
Provide a detailed scope of works and technical support for all work assigned to contractors and verify work performed upon completion
Effectively estimate required hours for corrective work orders, total work duration and skills required to complete the task
Communicate with internal and external key stakeholders after job completion to determine how to improve efficiencies in the future
Lead reviews and generate Annual Maintenance Plans in conjunction with the Marine Operations and Maintenance Managers
Requisition materials, equipment, services and other resources (including specialized tools and contractor resources) required for each specific task
Manage and measure the maintenance team’s workload in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager, ensuring satisfactory completion of all jobs
Participate in planning for refits and overhauls
Maintain inventory of spare parts requirements, and assist in building a catalogue of spare parts
Provide training support to employees in the use of identified internal systems
About You
Applied knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Strong commitment to health, safety and environment
High level of computer literacy and adequate understanding of Microsoft Office and various systems
Effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders
Excellent planning and organizational skills to enable completion of works within identified timeframes
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, OEM manuals and standards
Demonstrated 2 years’ experience in planning, scheduling and maintenance works management in the marine vessel field, or equivalent in a comparable trade/engineering field
