Our Penrith site is located in Greater Western Sydney on the banks of the Nepean River and manufactures a range of more than 50 milk-based products. The site currently produces around 145 million litres of product every year – receiving and processing milk 24 hours per day, seven days per week, 365 days a year! We proudly source milk from around 60 dairy farms across NSW and are passionate about supporting local products.
We are looking for a new Machine Operator that will ensure all functions are carried out in an effective, efficient and timely manner. This role requires blow moulding basic machine operation and to monitor the quality and output of bottles for supply and packaging in accordance with approved procedures, quality standards, and customer specifications.
Please note, this role works on afternoon shift, Monday to Friday, 1pm start to 9pm finish. This roster also includes Saturday work which you must be available to work.
Responsibilities

Safe setup and operation of all blow moulding machines to produce best quality bottles

Report all safety, quality and environmental incidents and issues

Accurate completion and recording of all quality, testing, and production related documentation

Work effectively and efficiently to reduce downtime

Training staff and assisting with assessment as required

Collaboration with Cross Functional teams
About you
-
Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing desirable

Enthusiastic, works with sense of urgency and a positive attitude!

Comfortable using technology for production, safety, quality, and reporting

Good communication skills and ability to work and collaborate in a team

Basic computer literacy skills

Commitment to teamwork and safe working practices
