The Opportunity:

A permanent full-time position is available for a Machinery Operator to join the team at our young stock raising facility at Ladysmith Farms, NSW. The role involves operating modern and well-maintained small and large tractors, feed mixer wagons, front end loaders and skid steers. This opportunity is for a highly motivated, reliable person, who has an eye for detail and is committed to work health and safety.

This opportunity provides secure, long-term employment in a safety-driven environment. You will be encouraged and supported to complete National Competency Accreditation in loader and skid steer and other training including forklift as required.

AFMH operates multiple sites across eastern Australia. Dairy operations are located at Moxey Farms in Gooloogong, NSW, as well as Coomboona Farms in Coomboona, VIC. In addition, AFMH operates Ladysmith Farms a young stock operation near Wagga Wagga, NSW.

Key accountabilities include:

Operating large Deutz tractors with feed mixer wagons, small John Deere tractors, Hyundai and Volvo front end loaders and new holland skid steer
Working to scheduling guidelines
Operating machinery safely

The successful applicant will possess:

A motivated and positive work ethic with good time management skills
Good communication skills with a strong team spirit and a commitment to attendance and punctuality
The ability to follow protocols and adhere to safety standards
Machinery experience
Truck Licence preferred but not essential
Q Fever immunity, or must be willing to gain the Q Fever vaccination
Not suitable for WHM visa holders
Driver's licence and own transport
