Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner and HR Manager, this position will see you joining a dedicated team of HR professionals to provide Human Resources advice and support to our managers and staff. Our team supports various Health facilities across the footprint of HNE Health (rural, regional, remote, and metro areas) including Acute Hospitals, Rural and Regional Health Service, Integrated Care Network and Partnerships, Mental Health, and Corporate Services.
The District consists of seventeen thousand people providing services to over 920,000 people, making this an exciting, broad, and fulfilling role for you to expand your HR knowledge and excel in your career whilst working in an ever-evolving industry. About the position:
You will interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders with the aim of developing and maintaining strong working relationships. This is a true generalist role where typical duties may involve but are not limited to providing advice and interpreting awards, analysing and interpreting policies, industrial topics including grievances and investigations, general HR queries, partnering with managers to provide sound HR advice, providing coaching and mentoring to managers, and much more. While primarily based at Waratah, you will have the opportunity to get out and meet with the people we support.

About You:
You will have a strong team focus and are seeking an interesting, meaningful role. You will care about what you do and the community we support. Along with generalist HR experience and knowledge, you possess a passion for coaching and mentoring new and experienced managers. With sound report writing skills as well as outstanding verbal and written communication skills, you are adept at analysing and interpreting policy, procedures, and industrial awards to provide high level advice and support to managers.
