Where you'll be working:
The Engineering and Building Services Operations Manager will be based at Maitland Hospital, and leads, manages and directs the Engineering and Maintenance staff in the delivery of high quality preventative and reactive maintenance of multiple health facilities within the Lower Hunter Region.
About the role:
- Exciting opportunity to lead a large team.
- Lead the building maintenance and engineering management structure within the Lower Hunter facilities, based in The New Maitland Hospital; the position will require travel to other sites, including Cessnock, Dungog, Kurri Kurri Hospitals and other community health facilities.
- Management of departmental budgets and business plans, including documenting and presenting asset management strategies and their development to ensure success for future planning.
- Manage the use of specialist Contractors across Lower Hunter facilities, including developing and managing applicable service agreements.
- The position will participate in the on-call engineering roster.
About you:
- Qualifications within the Building, Engineering and/or Facility Management fields with a minimum 5 years demonstrated senior management experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of applicable Work Health Safety and EEO legislation.
- NSW Driver's License
