Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia offers experience-based holidays in spectacular wilderness locations, including Ayers Rock Resort in the iconic Red Centre and tourism facilities in Mossman Gorge, located in tropical Queensland.

This role is located at our office in Sydney, which serves as a central hub, providing support to our operational teams based in our two locations.

We are seeking an ICT professional with over 3 years in hospitality IT, a deep grasp of industry trends and standards, and a proven track record in managing and implementing hotel management systems to join out ICT team as a Hotel Technology Specialist. This role will see you oversee and optimise the application technology in our hotels, ensuring seamless tech-based operations to enhance guest experience and boost internal efficiency. This role bridges the gap between daily operations and project-based improvements making sure new technologies are smoothly integrated into the hotel infrastructure while maintaining operational stability.

Key duties:

• Maintain hotel management technology systems
• Implement and integrate new technology solutions
• Guiding and training staff in the effective use of hotel business applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware or application issues.
• Support system upgrades and changes

To be successful for this role you will have:

• Relevant certifications in hospitality systems (e.g. Oracle Cloud Hospitality)
• 3 – 5 year’s experience in IT roles within hospitality industry
• Experience with APIs and system integration techniques
• Experience with data integration, data query and analysis techniques
• Experience with Point-of-Sale systems
• Experience with broad range of hotel operation technologies including human resources, time management systems, reporting software.
• Experience in managing service level agreements and work with vendor support teams.
