What you’ll be doing in this role As a Carer for Hotel services support, you’ll provide quality, timely and effective hotel services such as laundry to residents living in our aged care home, to help support their independence and improve their quality of life. Uniting seeks Care Workers - Hotel Services (Laundry) to work at Uniting Nareen Gardens in Bateau Bay on a casual basis. Your care work may include:
Providing support with household activities such as catering, cleaning and laundry making their dignity and independence a top priority
Paying attention to personal safety and risk management for you and our residents by using appropriate manual handling techniques and food safety
Supporting residents in community-based recreational and social activities.
Who we’re looking for.
You’ll have previous experience in similar position (cleaning or laundry services) or any other community care
You’ll be adaptable, empathetic and resourceful, and be able to live Uniting’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
