Health Club Attendant
Shangri-La Sydney, situated in the heart of the historic Rocks district. With 564 guest rooms and suites, a luxurious Chi Spa, 4 food and beverage outlets and 18 conference and meeting rooms, this Deluxe 5 star hotel is tailored towards both the corporate and leisure guest.
The Health Club Attendant shall graciously greet all guests and members within the Health Club Facilities. Responsibilities include explaining the facilities to the guests, cleaning and organizing the locker rooms, wet areas, gymnasium, poolside, etc.

About the Role:
- Greet all guests and members within the Health Club Facilities.
- Conduct complimentary fitness test to all members.
- Offer Personal Training techniques and upsell Personal training sessions to members at an addition fee.
- Conduct a group session of circuit fitness and make it fun
- Convert leads to members. Ratio 1 in 3 leads to members.
- Provide existing Members with Personal training requirements and fitness education.
- Offer Health Club Tours to hotel guests.
- Carry out general cleaning duties in the Health Club to ensure optimum guest standards
- Organizing the locker rooms, wet areas, gymnasium, and poolside, towels to and from Laundry.
- Responsible for taking reservations for services, lessons and other activities.
- Create an atmosphere in the Health Club where the guests are treated in a safe and welcoming environment.
- Assist the Director of Spa and Wellness to gain new corporate memberships through invitations and gym pass offerings.
- Hospitality or Fitness qualifications are preferable.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Health or Hospitality industries
- Motivator and self-starter
- Understanding of workplace practices in Occupational Health and Safety
- CPR and First Aid certificates are advantageous.
- Must be able to commit to minimum 24 hours a week.
