About the opportunity We’re looking for a Freight Handler with a Forklift Licence to join our diverse and hard-working team. As our next Bulk Forklift Driver, you will possess excellent problem-solving and people skills, have vast knowledge of the Brisbane Metro area and set a high standard of Safety. With e-commerce booming, our freight handlers are the folks making sure consignments are correctly loaded so we can get deliveries out to our customers, fast.
You’ll be
Happy to work afternoon shift hours
Using your strong work ethic to help us keep delivering great service
Handloading parcels and cartons from conveyor belts into trucks, ready for our drivers to head out on the road
Unloading trucks when drivers get back to the warehouse
Wrapping freight by hand or using a shrink wrapper (you know - like the ones at the airport), electronically scanning parcels and updating documentation.
About you
You will have a forklift licence
You’re fit and can lift at least 30kg repeatedly – we assess this at a pre-employment medical check to help make sure you’re safe on the job
You’re laser focused, even when the role gets repetitive
You’re a team player, passionate about helping our team keep the community connected
You’re also an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
If you’ve got a forklift licence that’s a plus, since this comes handy moving freight around the warehouse
