Passenger Handler/Utility for remote site in North Kimberley on a 3/3 roster
Key Responsibilities
· Provide efficient and safe Passenger Handling –transport passengers between aircraft and the Transit Passenger Lounge.
· Provide care for the Transit Passengers while they are at MNKA. Escort the passengers to the Mess Hall for meals.
· Liaise with clients to ensure flight arrivals and departures are on time and report any delays.
· Ensure incoming and outgoing Client Manifests are correct.
· Ensure correct donning of life-jackets and headsets in accordance Client procedures.
· Escort passengers to the helicopter in accordance with Client procedures.
· Ensure all Airside areas are kept clean and tidy – including Passenger Lounge and facilities, Recreation Room, South Apron facilities and Base Manager’s Office.
· Ensure Passenger Bus is maintained and kept clean and tidy.
· Provide assistance in the Kitchen including carrying out dishwashing duties and/or food preparation as directed by the Head Chef on duty.
· Provide assistance with the Utilities Department including washing of vehicles and gardening duties – watering plants, weeding etc.
Carry out any other duties as requested by Base Manager and/or Camp Supervisor.
Skills and Competencies
Preferable to live in Darwin and be prepared to tour on a 3 week basis (3 weeks on / 3 weeks off)
Basic computer skills – email, excel and word
Liaise with clients to ensure smooth operation of incoming flights and passengers.
Strong interpersonal, decision making and communication skills.
A flexible attitude is required to cover all aspects of this role.

Pay: $79,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
