How will I help? The purpose of this role is to formulate, communicate and execute the Commercial Bank’s Property Strategy to increase market share and achieve our ambition to be #1 Business Bank
Lead the development and implementation of the Property strategy for Commercial Bank, aligning to the overall Division and Group ambition and objectives. This includes constructing the target state model including how we approach customer segmentation within the Group.
Conduct comprehensive market analysis, competitor assessments, and industry trend evaluations to identify opportunities and threats of the Property portfolio to assist with positioning our growth and performance ambitions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore, identify and develop new customer value propositions and offerings through customers channel of choice.
Understand and simplify the lending journey and Business workstream.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry innovations to identify opportunities for transformation.
Oversee the performance and regularly monitor and report on the financial performance of the Property, including gaps to market and deal loss analysis.
Collaborate and communicate Property strategy effectively to internal and external stakeholders.

8-10+ years’ experience in strategy/consulting/financial services
Deep understanding of Commercial Banking with proven experience and connectivity in Property
An innovative problem solver who excels at making the complex simple, and the simple compelling
Ability to think strategically and implement initiatives to deliver financial, risk and customer outcomes
Strong understanding and experience in utilising customer insights, data and market research to inform proposition development
Strong commercial and financial acumen
Proven experience in delivering experiences which delight customers
Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholder relationships
