About The Role
Ventia is ramping up its application process in response to the Heat Stress season and the end-of-year period. We are inviting candidates from all backgrounds for entry-level positions on our Oil & Gas rigs. This is a great opportunity to begin a rewarding career and make a significant impact in the industry. As an entry-level Leasehand on Ventia’s Drilling and Well Servicing rigs, you'll be responsible for supporting the crew and ensuring smooth operations on site. While this position is designed for those new to the rigs, it involves physically demanding work. Prior to starting in the field, we’ll discuss all aspects of the role, including its challenges, during an information session. This FIFO opportunity offers a 15/13 roster with 12-hour days, providing a genuine work-life balance. The point of hire is Toowoomba, where we will either fly or drive you to site. Duties & Responsibilities
- General cleaning and housekeeping
- Preparation of the rig site, including rigging up and down
- Preparing and packing vehicles and equipment for work
- General manual labour and other tasks as directed by the rig crew
What We Need from You
- A manual driver’s licence (Car or Higher)
- Experience in a physically demanding role
- Ability to work outdoors in various conditions
- Willingness to adhere to a set roster (15:13 roster)
