How will I help?
You will join the Reward, Performance & Accountability (RPA) team, responsible for developing, and managing the strategies, frameworks and policies which support performance management and rewards for Westpac employees. A dedicated Centre of Excellence within the Human Resources Job Family, we are passionate about attracting and retaining talented employees so we can create better futures together.
Reporting to the General Manager RPA, this role supports the team to deliver high quality and impactful Board/Executive papers and projects. In this role, you will ensure timely engagement of senior stakeholders, planning and coordination, and prioritisation.
As a key conduit between the leadership and project teams, your responsibilities will include:
- Manage the planning and delivery of Board and Executive papers (WBC Board and Committees, Remuneration Oversight Committee, WNZL BPRC, ET and HRET).
- Liaise with key stakeholders across the RPA team, HR Job Family, Company Secretariat, and executive offices.
- Manage the flow of information between RPA team and GE HR office.
- Work independently or in collaboration with the RPA team to prepare materials and other reporting as required.
- Manage RPA team planning and delivery tracking, including contributing to the Human Resources Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process.
- Develop team strategies, implementing them through communications and coordinating key projects.
Assist the RPA Leadership Team with other governance and delivery activities where required.

What do I need?
You will have 5+ years in a HR, governance, legal, or comparable role with demonstrable experience managing projects and key deliverables demonstrating a disciplined approach to planning, prioritisation, up, and completion. With very strong attention to detail, with a focus on operational excellence and quality assurance, you will have strong written communications skill with experience writing high quality papers/packs. You will thrive in a fast paced environment where no day is the same with an ability to meet deadlines under pressure through strong time management skills. The ability to build trusted relationships confidently across all levels of the organisation will be high on your list of super powers, along with a proactive, flexible, and versatile attitude that can be responsive to changing priorities.
