The Role
The Operational Engagement Support Manager is responsible for managing Branch committee obligations.
The ideal candidate will be a team player, have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to positively influence a diverse team. They will have deep experience with committees and the associated staff work, be highly organised and demonstrate an affinity for Information and Communications Technology (ICT).
About our Team
Headquarters Joint Operations Command (HQJOC) J58 – International Engagement and International Exercises.
Core functions include:
Strategic planning of HQJOC operational international engagement and key leadership engagement.
Bilateral international exercise concept development and design.
Leadership of a range of bilateral international exercise and operations working groups.
Secretariat function for key military to military committees and international dialogue.
Leadership and coordination of HQJOC input to International Policy Papers.

The ideal candidate will have excellent skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a diverse team. They will be highly organised, able to cope with dynamic tasking and have demonstrated experience providing support to government committees with the associated staff work. They will have a background in international policy or engagement, strong interpersonal skills and flexibility.
