Odyssey House NSW’s trauma-informed services set us apart as a leader in the support service space for alcohol and other drugs dependency. Our teams help clients to meet their goals and address underlying trauma and mental health issues, while also developing new skills to improve all aspects of their lives.
We provide a diverse range of services to individuals, families and community education. Our services include withdrawal services; one-on-one assessment and treatment by psychologists and counsellors; group therapy; residential rehabilitation; and free education at Odyssey College.

Description:
The Odyssey Family Recovery Centre is brand new purpose built, long term Residential program aimed at empowering and upskilling Parents, whilst managing the harms related to substance use.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
Supporting the day-to-day running of the Family recovery Centre across 24/7 shifts.
Working within a team based environment.
Provide direct support and supervision to families.
Manage the day-to-day complexities of supporting a range of vulnerable parents and children from all walks of life.
Facilitating and supporting Parents on their recovery journey.
Administrative tasks as required including but not limited to emailing, case noting, file management
Role modelling to participants engaged in with program
Skills and Experiences:
ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA:
- VET Certificate or Diploma in relevant area or in process of obtaining.
Understanding of or experience with supporting people with AOD support needs and/or mental health support needs.
Demonstrated experience working within a residential or similarly complex program of facility.
Experience working to support children and/or parents and families, especially those with complex support needs.
Experience with group facilitation
Experience working in a team environment to deliver coordinated support.
Computer literacy
Hold a current NSW Driver's License.
Unlimited right to live and work in Australia.

WWCC number (paid employment)
First Aid Certificate
National Police Record Check (or international Police check if living overseas for a period greater than 12 months).
