About the Role
Join our dedicated team as an Allied Health Assistant, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting the Social Work discipline in delivering exceptional allied health services to patients at CALHN. In this position, you'll assist with a range of activities aimed at enhancing patient care and wellbeing, working under the guidance of the Principal Social Worker. Your contributions will help ensure that our clients receive the support they need, promoting positive health outcomes across multiple sites.

About You
We are seeking a motivated and collaborative Allied Health Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:
  • Eligibility to undertake Allied Health Assistance Certificate Level 3 Training, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with a diverse range of people.
  • A proactive approach, demonstrating initiative and the ability to foster a culture of critical thinking and constructive feedback.
  • Experience in a service environment, with a solid understanding of community services and the importance of patient confidentiality and ethical practice.
