About your opportunity:
Permanent full-time

• This role is the perfect opportunity for a motivated person who enjoys working with people to support them in achieving identified goals under the direction of an Allied Health practitioner across various discipline streams.
• As an Allied Health Assistant, you will contribute to patient care by providing clinical support tasks delegated under the direct or indirect supervision of an Allied Health Professional.
• You will be working in a supportive and friendly unit where innovation is highly valued, and ongoing learning and professional development opportunities are encouraged and supported. The role is part of multi-disciplinary team providing patient centred care in line with the organisational values and strategic directions.

• Generous remuneration package value up to $82,130 p.a. comprising:
• Salary range of $2624.50 to $2759.10 p.f. (CA3)
• Annual leave with 17.5% loading
• 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

Role Requirements:

• While not mandatory, a Certificate IV - Allied Health Assistant would be well regarded. Evidence of any Certificates/Qualifications held are to be provided prior to commencement of duty.
• This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
• The Townsville Rehabilitation Unit may provide services across a seven-day period. The successful candidate may be required to participate in a seven-day rostering system.
• Possession of class C drivers' licence.
• Probation period may apply.
• Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
