This role is the perfect opportunity for a motivated person who enjoys working with people to support them in achieving identified goals under the direction of an Allied Health practitioner across various discipline streams.
As an Allied Health Assistant, you will contribute to patient care by providing clinical support tasks delegated under the direct or indirect supervision of an Allied Health Professional.
You will be working in a supportive and friendly unit where innovation is highly valued, and ongoing learning and professional development opportunities are encouraged and supported. The role is part of multi-disciplinary team providing patient centred care in line with the organisational values and strategic directions.

Generous remuneration package value up to $82,130 p.a. comprising:
Salary range of $2624.50 to $2759.10 p.f. (CA3)
Annual leave with 17.5% loading
12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

Role Requirements:
While not mandatory, a Certificate IV - Allied Health Assistant would be well regarded. Evidence of any Certificates/Qualifications held are to be provided prior to commencement of duty.
This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
The Townsville Rehabilitation Unit may provide services across a seven-day period. The successful candidate may be required to participate in a seven-day rostering system.
Possession of class C drivers' licence.
Probation period may apply.
Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
