Job Description Summary
The Internal Controller reports directly to the Internal Controls Supervisor. The primary function
and purpose of this position are to ensure that internal control risks are identified, eliminated or
mitigated in a timely manner. The Internal Controller is also responsible for ensuring compliance
with Air Liquide guidelines and policies, for the activities performed within the BSC.

Internal Control:
Responsible for supporting the effort of internal controls in the areas of Finance & Accounting for the AL subsidiaries supported by the BSC
Help ensure compliance with the Group's key control principles focused mainly on financial processes but with an understanding of operations, information technologies and business.
Contributor for facilitating, teaching, reviewing and driving the process to ensure that controls are designed, documented and maintained properly.
Improve controls through identification of risks, and implementation of automation and preventive actions, as well by performing ad hoc reviews on specific topics
Participation in group and local internal audit projects, responses to the findings of internal / external audits, identifying the compensation controls where applicable.
Develop and document the controls promulgated by the Air Liquide Group
Be an ambassador of Air Liquide Blue Book and ‘30 core controls’, updating as
requested the Internal Control status within the BSC and the countries’ activities performed at the BSC
Perform Sapin II accounting controls
Manage the SOD matrix within GRC to actively monitor SOD on a proactive basis.
Run detective and preventive control in the areas of Finance & Accounting to ensure the group compliance.
Continuous Improvement :
Actively identify and take ownership of process improvement and automation
opportunities within the BSC using proven process improvement techniques such as Lean Management, Six Sigma and Business Process Management Systems
Contribute to projects and track progress
Engage all departments to create & maintain a continuous improvement culture
Unify best practices across teams /countries.
Performance, Quality and Conformity:
Ensure accuracy and reliability of the deliverables
Ensure complete execution of defined action plans within the defined due dates
Ensure corporate rules & principles are properly applied
Respect all Air Liquide safety policies, procedures and programs.
Participate in the promotion of Air Liquide's safety objectives. Know and follow Air Liquide’s procedures.

Finance, Accounting, or Business Management bachelor degree. Young professional or advanced student.
Language Requirements
English language proficiency is required. [B2] Spanish mandatory
Knowledge and Skills
