The Youth Development Professional (YDP) plans, implements and supervises activities with youth on a daily basis. Activities must be designed to meet the needs and interests of our elementary-aged and teen Club members within the Five Core Program Areas of Boys & Girls Clubs: Education and Career Development; Character and Leadership Development; Health and Life Skills; The Arts; and Sports, Fitness and Recreation. YDPs create a positive environment for youth, providing informal guidance and role modeling. YDPs ensure a healthy and safe environment for youth and a productive work environment for all staff. YDPs assist in tracking attendance, participation and other metrics, as required. Must be professional, organized, active and flexible. Must be self-directed and able to manage multiple priorities. Must have outstanding communication and customer service skills. Must have a professional appearance. Background check and drug screen required. Schedule:
