Window and Siding Foreman
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced **Window and Siding Foreman** to lead our installation team. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations on job sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves acting as a liaison between management and the installation crew, providing guidance, maintaining safety, and ensuring efficient workflow.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate activities of crew members on window and siding installation projects.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
- Oversee the installation of windows and siding, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Manage the safe use of tools and equipment specific to window and siding work.
- Perform or assist with cutting, fitting, and finishing of siding materials as needed.
- Inspect work to ensure proper alignment, insulation, caulking, and finishing.
- Conduct construction estimating for siding and window projects to assess costs and resource needs.
- Train team members on best practices for installation, equipment use, and safety.
- Monitor adherence to all safety regulations and protocols on-site.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient job site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Foreman or Supervisor in window and siding installation.
- Strong knowledge of materials, methods, and techniques specific to window and siding projects.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding schematics.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Physical stamina to handle manual labor tasks when necessary.
