Position Overview:
The Visual Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing visual planning projects to enhance seasonal store sets, endcap programs, and store layouts. You will work closely with merchants, operational teams, and visual planners to ensure alignment with company sales and margin goals while developing and tracking performance metrics. This role is crucial in enhancing the consumer experience through innovative design and effective project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Employee Management: Lead and manage a team, focusing on employee development and overall performance.
• Project Ownership: Take full ownership of visual planning projects from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with seasonal goals and company standards.
• Seasonal Store Sets: Develop and manage seasonal store sets, collaborating with stores and operational teams for successful execution.
• Endcap Program Management: Design and manage a 52-week endcap program, optimizing visual impact and product placement.
• Store Layouts and Planograms: Design store layouts and planograms using JDA/Blue Yonder, considering regional variations and product assortments to maximize space efficiency.
• Collaboration: Work with merchants and inventory management to understand department categories and ensure alignment with company sales and margin goals.
• Performance Tracking: Track performance metrics for store sets and report insights to management. Utilize analytics to drive improvements and achieve department goals.
• Creativity and Innovation: Design appealing store fixtures and visual elements that enhance the consumer experience.
• Macro Focus Development: Partner with merchants to identify new macro focuses and develop innovative visual solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of retail management experience with a proven track record in visual planning and project management.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Skills: Strong project management skills, creativity in visual design, excellent collaboration and communication abilities, proficiency in JDA/Blue Yonder, and a strong analytical mindset.

Requirements:

• Travel: Up to 25%, including occasional overnight trips.
• Lifting: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
