Blended Rate: $2000/wk
Shift: 5x8s - 40hrs - Evenings/Nights available
Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility in Vestal, NY. As an integral member of our healthcare team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents. Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in the Skilled Nursing Facility setting, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being
Assess residents' condition, develop and implement individualized care plans, and monitor their progress
Administer medications and treatments, as per physician orders, and accurately document all care provided
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate and prioritize resident care, ensuring efficient and quality services
Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to address any concerns or changes in residents' condition
Supervise and delegate responsibilities to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), ensuring their performance meets regulatory standards
Adhere to all clinical and infection control policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and clean environment for both residents and staff
Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance nursing knowledge and skills

Requirements:

Valid RN license in the state of New York
Minimum of one year of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or similar setting
Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficient in administering medications and treatments according to physician orders
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
Knowledge of nursing regulations and compliance standards
CPR certification (current)
